State Inspections & Breeding Laws

I am proud to say I live in a state that has the toughest breeding law on record.

NO other state makes a breeder be licensed and inspected if they have only 3 females. I am state of Missouri inspected on a regular basis , and my vet Dr. Harkey also inspects our home on a regular basis. Dr. Harkey also dose a full physical on all my moms and dad on a regular basis to make sure they are in the best of health.

There are a few states that are stepping up to the plate and passing breeding laws. For this I am very happy. I hope some day all breeders will need to be inspected by there state and not USDA.

But mot states do NOT have breeding laws and do not due inspections. Some breeders are inspected by AKC if they are breeding purebred dogs. When AKC come to do their inspections they look at paperwork for the breeding. But most breeders that do mix breed pups are not akc inspected since they do not register mix breed dogs.

We have been state licensed and inspected since 2005. We abide by all state laws and regulations, we are also a legal business. One of the most important things you can do when looking for a new companion on line is make sure you are dealing with a legal breeder and business. this will help protect you should there be a problem . If you are dealing with a breeder online find out what their local laws are and make sure they are following them. Do your research before you buy. It can save you a lot of money, heart ach, and unnecessary pain.
